I keep my silver in my house, I dont trust any bank or business, I dont want to be in a situation where I cant get my silver out, say a war or natural disater where you have to flee, are you going to wayste time by going to the bank and standing in line to get your silver, or maybe the bank is closed? stupid just stupid.

@GermanInvestor I keep my silver right in my own hands/in a safe that only my wife and I have access to. Otherwise you have no way of knowing for sure that the silver is really still there.

This video should be titled..... WHERE NOT TO STORE GOLD AND SILVER.

@GermanInvestor I think like him: I would store it at the exchange, or, a safe deposit box, or, whatever he says, that way, if the govt needs it, it would be readily available, . . . ask not what your country can do for you, but what, . . .

why does no one mention a pot at the end of a rainbow?

Here's the deal, dont trust banks, dont trust people, in some cases your own family, but especially dont rust in safety depoit boxes. In 1933 F.D.R. made a law that owning gold was illegal and would be confiscated. This can happen again, and if you let someone know you have gold or silver, your just asking to get it stolen. Dont tell anyone that you have it, keep it secret. Hide it in the moutntains somewhere remote that only you know, then when u need it, it will be there - Banks steal remember

I found the best place is in your toilet tank. cover it with a piece of plastic so it looks like it is part of the mnachanism. as you add gold, the water will diminish so you can save on water also. each time you take a piss or a dump, check if your gold is still there.

@Thenicereviewguy where do you live? just in case I need some gold and silver last minute...
the idea of PM is to NOT TRUST BANKS with PAPER or PROMISES.
In that case, the only reasonable logic is ONLY PHYSICAL in your hands.

Stay away from banks and their vaults. You do not want counter-party risk of any sort, that defeats the whole purpose of getting into precious metals. Also keep in mind Patriot Act as well that allows banks to look whats in your safety deposit box. keep your metals with you, invest in some mining companies if you want leverage and can handle some risk, and you can even get with goldmoney to get your metal in Hong Kong, but I would not give it elsewhere
