Steal? Really? As a VSP Provider, I'm exactly that. I'm an OD that services VSP Clients employees. They are VSP Clients BEFORE they are our Patients. You seem to forget that. As a panel provider we all AGREE to the reimbursements based on OUR UC Fees. As for their store fronts, please....do your homework first. I know my fellow colleague that runs the CISCO dispensary and she's more than willing to talk to you if you call with questions. Have you made such a call? I doubt it.

How is AOA showing you they care? By letting you free-fall and falsely beleieve MD Planels will be open to you as an OD? Really? Is there a guarantee to that? Nope. How do medical plan based panels like Davis and Spectera pay now? Poorly. What makes you think that will change in the future? It won't. AOA is setting up OD's to lose access to the patients. No panel is all of a sudden going to add members in droves nor offer to pay OD's more. Why would they? Short sighted - pun intended

You're pointing out a problem, but you don't have answer. You just want to get in the talks to further improve profits for VSP. The AOA cares about optometrist, and you greedy docs only care about growing your pocketbooks.

This is total crap. VSP does not care about optometry. They are too busy trying to steal the bulk share of profits FROM optometrist, not FOR optometrist. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS! VSP is sneaky. They are opening storefronts owned by VSP to further steal your business. VSP has no place in the healthcare reform.
