A very sad, almost overly dramatic film from Inarritu though I did highly praise Javier Bardem's portrayal of Uxbal, which was incredibly moving, painfully believable, and one of the most powerful performances I've ever seen. Bardem is without a doubt, one of the greatest actors of our lifetime.

We have to give credit to Iñarritu's work aswell, the movie is just as powerful and incredibly moving as Bardem's performance. They both took my breath away.

after finally watching the film, this trailer is literally playing the film at high speed and glossing over the depth that it's actual pacing gives it.

Trailer makes the film look like it's "City of God" or something.

This film was just harrowing to watch and I suddenly have a fear of death thanks to this.

Inarritu seems to always leave me in the fetal position.

Love the use of Desplat's music from Lust, Caution in the trailer though ;-)
