Why would this video have 100% dislikes? There's nothing wring with it. She did it just fine.

Great video. But I would like to enlighten you on wax. It is REALLY REALLY BAD for dreading hair. The wax only makes the hair stick together in clumps and actually prevents the hair from knotting up, also quite contrary to the video title, if you used wax the dreads wouldn't be natural. I use aloe gel; tear of a piece of an aloe plant, squeeze the gel out, and palm roll it into the dreadlocks. I don't mean to sound offensive towards you at all; it's just a very common misconception about wax.

can i have a shower while the process ?

@myykable Of course! Please do! Just keep your hair out of the water and wash new dreads sparingly - only as needed. The drier and more oil free they are, the better they will lock. Keep your scalp clean by using astringent or witch hazel on your roots around your dreads. :)

what would be the minimal length of my hair to start dreads?

@xXVenomNationXx It really depends on what look you are wanting to get out of it. When you dread the hair you will lose some length, so you need to have some hair to work with. But you can dread as shot as 4 inches

hi, what is the optimum length to start please ? I am considering dreads

@MsEmiliaJane71 You can do them as long as you have enough hair to dread, however, I would suggest at least to your shoulders.
