  • Just ordered one of these can't wait to try it out with my sax.

  • @jazzsaxboy Great! Please give us your feedback once you tried!

  • @LDSystemsVideos System arrived today. First impressions are very good. Nice solid build and hefty bass unit. When you pick it up you just know it is going to be good. All fitted together quickly and had my ipod running through it with my sax. The sound was clean and clear and even with the volume down the quality of sound was outstanding, plenty of push. Hope to make a video reveiw soon, after some experimenting.

  • @jazzsaxboy Thx a lot for the feedback, looking forward to your review!

  • It looks very impressive. I was about to order a Bose L1 but I'm glad I came across your system just in time. Bose L1 recommends 2 subwoofers when used for bass guitar. I am a bass player, would this system be sufficient or would you recommend an extra subwoofer, and if so, which model? Would 2 systems be sufficient for a band of 5 people for small gigs? (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard and drums)

  • @alexanderlvt By the way, if you wish to give more bass to this system we recommend the use of an additional powered subwoofer such as the LD Systems ASUB12.

  • No USA Sales?

  • @LDSystemsVideos Arrived today from Thomann. Very impressed with the look and feel of the build quality. The bass unit was larger that I expected. But it feels solid and up for the job. The arrays fitted together with a nice firm fit. Once powered up (in my house) I plugged in my ipod to run some of my backing tracks through it. I could not believe just how clear the sound was and plenty of bass if needed. Next test in a live venue.

  • @LDSystemsVideos Thanks for the comment. I understand what you say. We'll just order two sets and try it out. Sending back however is going to be complicated as we are based on a small subtropical island. (as you see, even that can have it's disadvantages)

You can get an idea about our music on the-energy-project(dot)net I would appreciate further recommendations, if any. Thank you.

  • @alexanderlvt Hi, the MAUI 28 delivers about the same power output as the Bose L1 II. We can't really say if one system would be enough for your bass, and 2 systems enough for your band because it definitely depends on which kind of music you play and which kind of venues. Sound is very subjective. The best would be for you to test our system in a shop or order it online and test it at home. Most online dealers offer 30 day money back guarantee nowadays. Send us your impressions after the test!
