BIG Heart Ranch offers Equine Assisted Growth and Learning and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to children with Autism and Aspergers, children with terminal illnesses, and children suffering from abuse, trauma, neglect, as well as inner-city youth, Native Americans, and much more. The powerful effects the horses have help the children learn important social and interpersonal skills such as clear communication, teamwork, leadership, assertiveness, setting and respecting boundaries, and so much more.
