The Troggs are an English rock band from the 1960s that had a number of hits in Britain and the USA, including their most famous song, "Wild Thing". The Troggs were from the town of Andover in southern England. The band were originally called The Troglodytes ( troglodyte meaning "cave dweller" ).

  • I feel it in my fingers, I fee it in my toes,

Christmas is all around me, and so the feeling grows,

It's written on the wind, it's everywhere I go,

So if you really love Christmas, come on and let it snow.....

  • @fntime "Love Is All Around" is a song composed by Reg Presley and performed by The Troggs. Purportedly inspired by a television transmission of the Joy Strings Salvation Army band, the song was first released as a single in the UK in October 1967, peaking at No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart in late November 1967 and No. 7 on the Hot 100 chart in the US on 18 May 1968. This version features a string quartet and a 'tick tock' sound on percussion.

  • @sk1illsz Yes it is, do some research.

  • Lol this is kind of a scary song to me a little perve

  • this song was #1 when i was born. boss.

  • This is the troggs, its just a remake of their original song. It's one of my favorite songs of all time. I never get tired of it. My step-dad, who has now passed on, used to tease me about liking the troggs so much but its like I don't grow tired of their songs as much as other bands. I don't really no why.

  • @fntime Hi buddy, I do love the original, but i think we were getting mixed up with the word "original", i just meant they were the first and original artists that recorded the song, You however gave me the original recording from the same guys which i happened to love, I hope we cleared all that up, happy new year ;)

  • I learned this today and played it for my wife. She said "What the hell is this? Sounds like bubble gum." I laughed so hard because she "got it"

  • @MegaProvo - Cool info! And God bless the Sally Ann for inspiring Reg to put together this beautiful tune.
