The Troggs are an English rock band from the 1960s that had a number of hits in Britain and the USA, including their most famous song, "Wild Thing". The Troggs were from the town of Andover in southern England. The band were originally called The Troglodytes ( troglodyte meaning "cave dweller" ).

Yes it was released in early 1968 in the US but had actually been released in late 1967 in the UK. But I do remember hearing it in 1967 and I was only 9 years old then! This version is'nt the original. go to "Nick Ziggy" that is the original radio version and the BEST and ONLY on in my book :)

hello Magpieeye....i checked google and it seemed that "the troggs" actually released the song in 1968. I may be wrong though

Or better yet go watch a very good video of them on Valhalla845 channel...that's a very good original there...this one playing here is so not the original. And Nick Ziggy post is an original also. to bad you did live back then and live it..it was awesome.

Why don't you check Nick Ziggy's you tube post of Love Is All Around. That is 110% the original radio release...I have never heard this version on the radio...never in 45 years!! Also it's on Fontana 1607, 45 rpm record, released in the USA in early 1968. Any other versions, like this one you keep defending, are not original.

You are 110% right. These "hard heads" obviously do not own the original 45 that was released back in the late 60's that contains the original radio version of "Love is All Around" nor have they heard it on oldies radio stations that still play the original even 45 years later today.
