A great wah and a great fuzz make a formidable combination. Here we have the mighty Custom Audio Electronics MC-404 dual Fasel wah teamed with the handbuilt, point-to-point FuzzFaceless MKI fuzz from the UK.
I'm always in search of the unbelievable tone that the great Mick Ronson pulled and this combo has brought me a few steps closer.
Later I'll be uploading a more comprehensive clip for the MKI, but for now...
For those wanting to know what's inside..
1. Third transistor is a 2G381 as per original Sola Sounds.
2. First and second are both NKT ACY20.
3. The first one is leaky. More leaky than you'd want to put in a fuzz face.
4. Caps are sprague orange drops (real old vintage ones) and one old sprague electrolytic, and one mullard mustard.
5. Some resistors changed but not a lot.
6. Output pot is a 100K.
7. It's got a treble bleed network on it too.
8. Old polyester caps and old carbon comp resistors throughout.
9. Switchcraft jacks.
Oh, you would like to order one of these amazing fuzzes? Send my friend TC an email to fuzzfaceless@gmail.com and I'm sure you'll be well looked after. :)
For the record: I am sponsored neither by Dunlop nor Fuzzfaceless. Both pedals were paid for. And I love them! :)

Yellow does the Cry Baby and Red is darker, throatier and my favorite. You can also get inside it and use the trim pots to make adjustments to each inductor. This is a one-stop funk shop. Three thumbs up!
