If you're fronting a band and you've got the Goners backing you, you are going to ROCK!

John Hiatt is incredible. He doesn't just play music, he feels it. He's alive onstage like very few I've every seen. He doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves.

I had heard of this Harry Potter kid but the slide guitar shit he does is just something else.
-
One of his best tunes. He blew the roof off the place with this one at a recent concert in Red Bank, NJ. JH is brilliant, I never miss a chance to see him perform.
-
@kshorns not to mention Haitt's dancing....
-
This blows my mind every time I watch it. John and Sonny, two of the most underrated masters of all time.
-
Never seen a bad Hiatt show. The guy never disappoints.
-
And just look at the obvious joy on John's face during the bass break - that's what music is all about, kids....

Jh is so great!!!
Four 'dislikes' on this? You gotta be kidding me. This deserves a 'like' just for being a textbook example of how to play rhythm guitar...not to mention stellar slide work, funky, funky bass, and rock-solid drumming.

@kshorns Hey, I agree with you...but there are people on my channel and on youtube that listen to brilliant work and then leave comments about the performers' weight or hairstyle.

Gotta watch this video every couple of months just to get my Sonny fix.

@niallwhite1969 It may be Sonny's greatest live performance--although I also enjoy watching him scare the crap out of Eric Clapton during their duet on "Crossroads" DVD.
