  • There is no question that Ms. Beach knew what she was doing as a composer.

  • I love Amy Beach's music! - Nothing to do with her being a rather good-looking American lady (I'm European myself), but because the music is tuneful, powerful at times, and well constructed.

  • Thanks a lot for this posting, I just heard the complete symphony. This is a very interesting. powerfull and wonderfull music. I think that beyond Gershwin, Copland, Ives, Barber, Sousa and Grofe there are a lot of wonderfull american composers that should by more often pleyed by the orchestras and be known worldwide.
