@backdrop04 The universe is dying. Hence the title of the episode being "The Day We Died" Obviously while cutting edge technology is still being developed some of the most basic elements of human existence are getting beyond us. Its an amazing opening. The Cryptozoology is my own personal favorite

@3931Kong It symbolizes the current state of the universe. Blue is our universe, red is the alternative universe, gray is the future universe, yellow is the combined universes.

Water. Biosuspension. Hope.........oh, God! Peter is stuck in suspended animation under Reiden Lake and can't wake up! And hope is....um.... I hope that in the season four premere Peter will be there as himself. No hallucinations, no flashback, just him.

I think dual maternity is ether making baby from two ovums, so she (it can't be boy then) will have two mothers. It also may mean that two women can be pregnant with the same child (if first mother can't carry it anymore) I don't see much applications to such technology, so I go with first variant.

Thought Extraction - a concept of a part of thought or thought process being blocked in patient's brain(or taken out). BY idea currently its only psychological term but it applies to what happened to Walter.
Cryptozoology is pretty much searching and researching missing evolutionary links, animals that have not been found yet and so on.
Brain Partitioning - If we refer to brain as computer, our brain is "partitioned" in ways to specialize in various things.

@Glucharina The first thing that came into my mind when the words CHaos Structure appeared, were Chaos Theory.
Considering this show has a lot to do with time travel, parallel universes, etc, I am betting that chaos structure is some sort of advanced model of chaos theory.
Temporal Plasticity pretty much means the "plasticity" of time. how time passes, how time flows, what and how affects time,
