Zulu is an African language. I once was praying in the Spirit and heard myself repeating a phonetic sequence. As a linguist, I curiously jotted down this sequence. I had the sense I was praying for a female who was somehow close to a dear friend in Swaziland. When I called this friend the next day to share this, he told me that the phrase I'd been repeated was "God, grant her mercy" in Afrikaans. And yes. A close female in his life had been hospitalized the day before & needed much prayer.

@toddberger Zulu is not necessarily tongues... unless she didn't learn the language...

@WarriorProphet1 i think the point is that he sees something in us that is good and lovely even in our weakness and sin.

@WarriorProphet1.... WE are sinners, but Jesus anguish on the cross makes us righteous, those who choose to receive that gift. So HE makes me good enough, maybe that's what she means. Also I think the word "good" means a couple different things. I think she means Worth saving, as Toddberger but it. But yes, The awesomeness of Jesus is that he chose to save us when we didn't earn it, deserve it, and cannot be good enough no matter how hard we try.

Wow... I've never heard anything quite like this. The vocals seem raw and un-tampered with, the music is trippy, and the message is relatable. All in all, I'm not sure how to feel about it. It's so different...

@redninja2010 what do you mean?

@sunlitrain wow!!!!!!!!!! incredible.

@sunlitrain Thats pretty amazing! I am afrikaans so its really cool for me to hear of someone praying in tongues... that happen to be my own! "God, skenk haar genade"!
'You are the only one who thinks I'm good enough to save'
I'm not quite sure that's a biblical sentiment. If I read Romans correctly, the greatness of God is that He chose to save us while we were still sinners and enemies of God.
