midimouse doesn't generate Notes but only ControllerChanges. You need a CC to Note Converter for this. I am also using a custom coded harmonizer module - or musical scale adpation (like the one in the ACSensorizer), but I think there are plenty of them for free around...
If I get enough interest, I may be able to start with a MidiPipe plugin.
