Cabela's Alaskan Adventures (Xbox 360) Sitka Special Hunt 1

Hunt a male Roosevelt Elk from less than 50 yards. You must use the Elk Call.

Just cross the logs to the west and go a little bit further. Use the Elk Call a couple times, and a Roosevelt Elk should rush at you from the NorthWest side. Just run up to him and headshot him to complete this hunt.

@LEGO96COMBAT I am not a huge fan of hunting games, but played them for achievements. If I had to choose one, I loved Dangerous Hunts (the old one, not the new one)

nicely played. any ideas how i get trophy bear from 30 yards on south central? cant find it anywhere.

Taken from the walkthrough:

There are three Black Bears in the vicinity of the red square along the south

shore of the river. Your best bet is to hop in the truck and try to drive

north to the river to avoid getting trampled by a moose. Get out at the

river and go west alongs it's southern bank and hope to get a shot at the

largest of the three bears from and adequate distance.

To add my own tip:

This was a very difficult hunt as the bear charges you and it's hard to get the required 30 yards. Also, there are three bears so it's hard to know which is the right one. Easiest is to just shoot any of them and see if it says it's illegal or not. If it isn't illegal you got the right bear.

Try to wound it by shooting the legs rather than going for the head first, and then run to the top of the hills and kill him hoping for the best. I did it this way :)
