  • Pelosi said: "Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American. ..."

She did not call anyone un-American.

She was talking about the process of discussing the issues.

DO NOT let the republicans get away with spinning this into something it is not!

    .

  • Un-American to the core to end the civil discourse and bully people around for their political beliefs.... make no mistake, it was backed by the insurance company lobbyists. Make no mistake, those people doing the screaming and bullying are Republican Fascists and/or racists sore about the election.

  • The AARP today erased from its web site hundreds of posts from its members protesting its position on Obamacare and either canceling or threatening to cancel their memberships. Seems that AARP agrees with Polosi that dissent of liberal Democratic views is un-American and must be silenced.

  • I agree.

  • How about instead of saying "we want to make Medicare strong" you explain how the nationalized plan is intended to make it strong. People who are paying attention to your words want to know. People are angry because the policy makers are not being clear.

  • Its a failure because previous presidents have DRAWN money from it rather then put money back in it.

Thats the problem, I'm all for most social services and I truely beleive socialism isn't bad if a good balence between the people and government is achevived and intertwined with capitalism. I personally have agree'd with just about every democratic or liberal ideal (they seem to be more common sense) but universal health care just doesn't seem to be for us at this time. We're still too shaky

  • Tis is how a townhall should go, orderly, respectful, and everyone got there say.

  • Her citing Medicare as an example of government-run health care is ironic, as it is running out of money, and the first response of the government bureaucrats is to cut services. Medicare is a small failure of government-run medical care compared to the proposed Obamacare program. As is the government-run VA program, which currently is running a backlog of over one million claims that are putting veterans in severe economic hardship.

  • Which bill? I'm probably never going to read every word in them all, and neither will you... how many bills are they looking at anyway? I bet you watch Fox, which is Republicon/Fascist run media, and you're talking to me about "state runned media", what a joke.

  • Very creative and full of facts. Good for you! (Not!)

  • Your misinformed. Turn off your state runned media. Grow up and read the bill.

  • BrownMBA, you obviously have access to the internet, so use it. The video of Pelosi and her statements saying that opposition was carrying swastikas (nazis) and later saying they were un-American is readily available.

BrownMBA, you just made a fool of yourself and have no credibility at this point.

Lay off your taxpayer-funded internet connectin/PC and go outside, find a job or something.

    MBA, my ass!
