I can run faster than the dark brotherhood shadowmere, I got like 100 athletics and a boost athletics 100 points spell on my lvl 36 sorcerer. xD. I tried making him a vamp once in the dark brotherhood but I fucked up and drank some cure disease potions. Yea, I know I can get it from any vampire.

Acrobatics, athletics, illusion, destruction, hand to hand, mysticisism and sneak get bonuses. You also get attribute bonuses to strength, willpower and speed. The benefits out weigh the bad sides, as you only get sun damage if you dont feed. The main bad side is the people not talking to you, but if you get a good charm spell its fine.
