This music is excellent. Even when I would go clubbing in the 90s "Fade to Grey" and Tubeway Army's "Are Friends Electric?" were staples that were played every week. I can still remember the first time I saw Boy George on TV in the 80s and loving him! Marilyn is so beautiful!
the 80's were great but don't waste time trying to explain it . it was all cool then and will be forevever for those who experienced it .But it's over now. This is a new era and hopefully it will mean as much to someone else as it did to us someday.
They had more of a laugh then, than the kids do today. All they do nowadays is get pissed up and look for fights. I'd rather have been in my twenties in the 80s than being in my twenties now.
Remember this was only for a select few. If you lived outside London and didn't have the money or nerve to travel, you were left out. I was in my teens when raves hit - I lived and loved the 90s but many many of my peers missed out. I imagine far more missed out on this experience, which imploded anyway. I agree the in-crowd looked like a great place to be though...
