Let's Play Final Fantasy XIII-2 [1] - Chaos Bahamut

Here we go guys! The start of a grand and glorious LP.

I had recorded a quick into thing for the title screen, but I ran out of time. That Bahamut fight is LONG. Anyways, to recap: I'm playing on Normal, but I may switch to Easy if I find some fights are too difficult. I don't expect I will, as I'm playing through FF13 on SRC, but it's possible.

Also, this is a first run. I'm a little hesitant on first runs. If I get stuck, or if I need to do some leveling, this LP might be put on hold for a bit until I get to a point where I feel comfortable.

@JBRam2002 Beat demo area, stuck around for a bit to explore that is where I left off though, I dunno about how I am levelling but i chose an atb for my first expansion and i unlocked syn/sab in my second expansion o.o either way i spent a while in the demo area and did the personal notes quest :P btw Atlas so SOOOOO easy dude, no idea why, but i raped the shit out of him.

@duffking56 From what I've seen, that's probably the best way to level up. ATB first, then SAB for Serah/ SYN for Noel. After that, try MED for Serah if available (even tho Noel actually gets better MED abilities, surprisingly). A SAB bonus for Serah is pretty useful, but the rest of the bonuses are meh. Then I'll probably go for ATB upgrades and Ultimate Attack upgrades next.

@JBRam2002 Ultimate attack upgrade? I am not familiar with this, is that an equivalent of an eidolon or something? I do like the syn sab combo if I had more CP lol, but that is what farming is for. Can't wait to crack away at this tonight, we need to party up and share orgasms with each other.

You'll get those ultimate attacks in FF13 soon. You might have seen Lightning's Army of One ability. They're abilities that take a full ATB bar to use, and in 13-2, you can only use them once per battle (in 13, you can use them as much as you want, though).

@JBRam2002 :D heck yeah to that ^_^ and I know how you feel can't wait to spend my break days playing this game god it's going to be alot to take in especially since time travel can get confusing ^_^

@lemonsyay1 You get a few things from having a FF13 save data, but I haven't figured out if any of them really assist in the game itself yet.

I'm so jealous right now since I have to wait until the 3rd for this game to come out in my country. I remember reading somewhere that hinted that something from your save in the first game might be carried forward to this game, is this true? Also lightning doesn't need a reason to be main character she's freaking lightning and therefore deserves to be the main character.
