I made a video which you will not see where I wafted eloquently for ten boring minutes about what I think the Constitution of the US means and how important it is that we stop treating it like bathroom tissue.

Then I saw Marta Costello's report about a peaceful protest in Minnesota getting the response of TEAR GAS.

Needless to say I'm pissed. You should be too. Unless you support the rich who want to lock up anyone who can't afford a real Gucchi bag.

Here's a clue for you. If you make less than a couple hundred thousand dollars a year, you are not a member of their club. They may let you tee off with them now and then, but they won't let you in at the nineteenth hole. In fact, they'll tell you there's no such thing. If you try to get in, they will tear gas you.

If you are truly are among We The People, you can't afford to be supporting today's American Politics As Usual. That's only for "the Haves and the Have-Mores." Hopefully you won't have to wait until YOU get tear gassed before you realize that.

Marta Costello is one hell of a fine reporter. Okay, so she lost it a little bit according to the raw footage (available elsewhere - go to gnooze.com if you can't find it on youtube) but she got enough material in the can for the final product and that's what's important in the journalism biz. In a fair and balanced world, she'd be on the evening news, and my TV wouldn't be sitting in the corner gathering dust.

  • Bottom line; President Kennedy (D) stated that "citizens are free to disagree with the law, but not to disobey it."

  • That is so not the bottom line. Benjamin Franklin once said those who give up essential freedom for an illusion of security deserve neither.

The laws are there for all the people of the country. We The People have been tear gassed for peacefully exercising our inalienable rights. Daniel, how can you possibly believe that is acceptable behavior for a democratic republic?

  • They did protest at DNC. lawl

  • There was a lot of different protesting going on. I wouldn't make such arrogant generalizations.

  • I saw the protest and it was not peaceful or lawful towards the end. There is a limit. You can protest outside my property but you can't trespass or come in my home with it.

  • Simple. Instead of burning down your own neighborhood, killing innocent people, and misusing freedom, use the law of the courts. That is not giving up freedom, you do not have freedom to run amuck. You have laws which you must obey. Both parties will tell you that. Protesting at a convention will not get anything done. Why didn't they protest at the DNC too? They are hypocrits!
