I think a mathematical-oriented person would be more apt to have a cat than some other field (stereotype and generality)

motherside accountant...that's a stretch, but maybe accountants have frequent family lineage? haha i don't know about hat one .

And note that I said barnam statements AND good people-reading. Both were utilized and fully explain this one.

hhmm don't know why this is marked up because on teh contrary, you're wrong.

"bright shoes" = barnam. White is bright, most all nonblack shoes converge to teh vague "bright" adjective.

physical description, are you crazy?? "simple colors" Unless they're wearing tye-dyed hippie shirts, everyone has simple colors

ponytail -- there's a lot of ponytails in that crowd

army-style top -- any dark colored top would fulfill that blurred description.

He picked a girl, subliminally make her say 136, and then write down her characteristics. The rest is just wisdom of crowds, which is not a trick

It is indeed very odd indeed. I would've liked to see the "addition" come out to a slight bit higher and indeed round off downwards makes it more credible.

At 0:49, while Derren's talking about "a special job", a girl steps behind the victim, who turns around. At 0:55 she seems talking to her. We dont know if those guys knew each other (they work in a big place), she could easily be disguised as a banker, while being Derren's accomplice. So my shot is: Derren asks everyone to participate, he chooses the girl, put the scroll in the jar and asks the accomplice to stay close to her, influencing her choice with Derren usual skills.
