Didn't you know that? Oh, it's from the 'Final Break'. The actual ending is when they get married, but there are two extra episodes, which not were shown everywhere ... and there he dies ;(

sara was arrested for murder christina scofield and so michael tried to get her out of the prison. He get in Prison and finally they were in a room with a last door, which will get them outside. But it was closed and to open it he had to cause a short circuit so the door get open, but he know, when he do this he would die. But it was the only chance for freedom for sara. He became a electric shock, but sara escaped. Then Sara and the others went to Mexico and this grave is the end scene!
