I think these are quite an australian thing, the first of these were the 'human' bus (I believe), where loads of school kids would form a bus and walk to school - and then it took off from there - great idea!

This seems like a really good idea for kids cycling to school.

I used to ride my bike to school on narrower side streets with less car traffic, and I had a couple of friends who would join me. We need calmer streets, though, in general. 20-35 m.p.h. should be the maximum in urban and suburban areas for a whole host of reasons, including making cyclists safer and more comfortable.

Ride single file on the left edge of the road to let cars past...

Riding all over the road like this and blocking all traffic behind you, you are enraging the general population and provoking dangerous driving or road rage.

The trouble is that the vast majority of motorists are doing just about everything else than paying attention to what theye are supposedly doing, driving a car.

It's all to common for a cyclist to be hit from behind in broad day light regardless to what they are wearing.

What is the common motorist mantra? I didn't see them.
