  • I think running both mixers into a 3rd is in case you want to add extra FX or other mixing for just the guitar (reverb, etc.)

    As for the layers, Right click->insert->layer. Shift+click on the lights to the right of the channel names to select multiple channels, then in the layer channel settings click "set children".

  • how do u get them layered together?

  • why did you also run 1 and 2 into 3? I understand the separate tracks 1 and 2, left and right pan...but what's track 3 for?

  • what does layered together mean? Maybe you explained it in the previous tutorials, but couldn't you hint to previous tutorials? Or just DO the first step so beginners know a little bit of where they have to look.
