After visiting the Alan Keef Ltd open day we then visited the 15in gauge Perrygrove Miniature Railway for their 'Vintage Trains Afternoon' which actually coincided with the open day so most of the people there would have been at the open day as well.

Locomotives in action -

- 0-6-0T 'Spirit Of Adventure' built in 1993 by the Exmoor Steam Railway
- 0-6-0T 'Ursula' built in 1999 by James Waterfield
- 2-6-2T 'Lydia' built in 2008 by Alan Keef Ltd
- 4wDH 'Jubilee' built in 1998 by Hunslet (on shunting duties)

We start Part 1 at the lower level station where we see 'Spirit Of Adventure' backing up to 'Ursula' after arriving double headed with the vintage train. 'Jubilee' then arrives to take the stock away. 'Spirit Of Adventure' then moves off into the loop ready for when 'Lydia' arrives while 'Ursula' moves off to the shed. 'Lydia' then arrives and 'Spirit Of Adventure' moves onto the front to form the next train. 'Lydia' then moves off the back of the train into the siding, we now board the train for a trip up the 3/4 mile line whilst integrating some line side clips into the mix at certain locations. We then see 'Spirit Of Adventure' running round at the high level station and we wait for the next train to arrive so we can leave. After quite a wait it hadn't turned up so we decided to get out and walk down the footpath to the low level station to see what was happening. It turned out that a coach had de-railed so we had to wait for that to be sorted out so once it had been all trains were "running to the timetable, but 40 minutes late" as we had been told. After everything had been sorted 'Ursula' was on her way and we see her half way up the line as she climbs her way to the top making a fine sight, and we still managed to get to the top and get the same train down the we had caught up.

Filmed on a Panasonic HS60 HD Camcorder
