Saturn squaring his Moon (wide0 definitely didnt help but made him just look a bit older. This transit really ages people and affects their eyesight. Although it may have increased him emotional discipline, by itself it is actually an aspect of disappointment and not luck! Luck is definitely Jupiter transiting his fifth and squaring Mars.

As I stated in the video, transiting Saturn in contact with his Moon suggests ambition, an advance in his work/profession. It can be depression for some people, but if you study in the past when this transit occurs approx. every 7 years (conjunction, square, opposition), you will see that things happen ambition-wise. Transiting Jupiter to Mars sealed the deal. And the Solar Arcs, the background themes occuring simultaneously were very strong to suggest success.

I think Jupiter transiting his 5th house and Mars in Leo in his 11th rouching off his natal Uranus was really important factor. Of course Mars sq jupiter is a very lucky aspect but coming from his 5th House was the crucial aspect.
