George Bush Don't Like Black People - by The Black Lantern (2005)

This is a music video mashup created by The Black Lantern to illustrate Legendary K.O's song "George Bush Doesn't Care About Black People". The song is a play on Kanye West's song "Gold Digger" which in turn had sampled Ray Charles' song "I Got a Woman". The video remix is highly critical of then President Gorge W Bush's slow, prejudiced and disastrous response to hurricane Katrina in 2005. Black Lantern self-published the video on his personal website (one month before YouTube launched). The remix went viral in the first 48 hours causing him to exceed his bandwidth limit and forcing him temporarily remove it.
