Not the most popular or used firearm of WW2, but still an interesting piece of history.

The MAS is definitely a good rifle, saw alot of action in Indochina, but it's also a tricky rifle to shoot. The recoil can seriously catch someone who isn't ready for it, and even people who ARE ready can get it hard. And yes! I completely agree with the shooter about the bolt.

  • what weird bolt handle

  • @niksarass je sui totallement dacords avec toi mec, les con qu'il y a sur youtube et l'internet en general m'ebahie lol

  • I had a chance to purchase one of these, but it had a mismatched part on it and the barrel band was painted black for some reason. Maybe I'll get one later on. The sights definitely interested me, but the bolt handle was downright unique. I read somewhere that these have no safety on them.

  • I read somewhere that it is a very reliable rifle.

    Is that true?

  • it is alot more accurate than what you fail to give credit for. With Hornady 150interlocks, and Dupont4895 I can have sub-MOA groups at 100yards...though the loads are hot.

  • I like the Mas series rifles, except for two things,a short stock, and the price of ammo. But these are able to be converted to .308, at least Gordy's will do it and makes them much cheaper to shoot, if you you don't mind paying for the work. The Semi's also.

  • aimer ces fusils surplus militaire

  • Never shot one of these before. Is the bolt-cycle smooth?
