@tristancalin Kubrick was employed to make backup fake footage in case the mission failed... I think that's where a lot of people dismiss the conspiracy... maybe they did land, maybe they didn't... I think they did, but I also think, they had made backup fake footage in case of catastrophe, because the stakes against the Russians were way too high at the time, off the chart. And the American government (as shown by numereous broken Indian treaties) is in no way above playing dirty pool.

FILM recorder or VIDEO recorder

A video recorder has the button PLAY. No such button on a 16 mm camera, The camera cannot play back undeveloped film. And it did not. And as there was no video recorder there could not be anything RECORDED.

So what you suggest is impossible. There was no way to play back 16 mm film.

@xismxist The 16-millimeter Data Acquisition Camera was not a videorecorder. It worked with film, 16-millimeter film, which had to be developed in Houston.
