Why is it when ppl hear sex offender, they instantly think child molester? The ignorance in the posts I just read is both astonishing, and all too common. I think that before you can go spouting off about how terrible these ppl are, you should #1 get better informed, and #2 remember that there are alot of grey areas in life. #3 quite often the most unlovable people are the ones who need it most. That mother is probably keeping all those guys from re offending. There needs to be more like her

the sex offenders you all hate and threaten are only 5% of those who are forced to register. The rest are just like you and me. Except they made a mistake at some point in their lives. Most were very young when they were arrested. These laws include all sex offenders no matter what really happened or how long ago it was. Using the term sex offender without qualifying it shows a lack of information on the topic..read up on the registry and you wont make these broad comments

Liar. Many people on the registry are not rapists! Teens are on it for having consensual sex with other teenagers, while others are on it for peeing in public. Plus, very few re-offend according to the Department Of Justice and university studies. This is just another homicidal vigilante high on meth who has nothing better to do with his life.

At least sex offenders should be classified in different categories. The actual punishment show in this video is perfect for the most dangerous (don't change anything). Those assholes deserve death penalty.
But the ones in cases of consent sex like someone of 22 years old and the victim of 17, don't deserve this kind of threat.

no he was 17. but even if he was 18 its this is still and injustice. the laws need to take age gaps into account.
