Ramdas represented imperial and coloniol parampara more than lokayatha or charvaka parampara. URA, Ramdas and their ilk form an elusive mutual admiration soceity. Bhyrappa's description of Professor Shastri is such a realistic portrayal of URA.

Brilliant. I've heard Ananthamurthy's speeches before, most of them in Heggodu. Adare ishtondu pramanikavagi Ananthamurthy tamma hrudaya bichi matadodanna ide modalu kelta irodu. Avara controversy-gaLanella badigittu nodidre truly Ananthamurthy is a great scholar.
