Because these medication is sometimes worse then the seizure itself.

I wish she could agree or disagree. She does not mind because she has Rett syndrome. She is and will not be aware of this videos. Hopefully the attention for this kind of seizures by other parents and medicians will benefit her.

Petit Mal? These usually occur btwn the ages of 4 to 12. Is there commonly a further development after that age of generalized seizures (grand mal)?

Do you mean mental development? Rett syndrome is characterized by a possible minimal progress in communication skills depending on the stimulation. There is no physical improvement.
