One year on since I found this video of the W154, still the best one on youtube! Amazing noise, video catches the supercharger whine along with the crisp exhaust blast. Superb!

The best video I have ever seen of the 1939 w163 (w154) 1939 car. Sounds just out of this world, brings tears to my eyes! Wish I could smell it! The methanol,acetone,ether combination gives a smell no petrol engine could compete with.

Thank you for your nice comment. Ireally tried to conserve the smell in my nose....it is definitely unique - and should be sold like perfume in small bottles.
Now that would be an idea for christmas !
