@greatgriffin68 If you could have first pick from all the players that have ever played - Smart money goes to Bill Russell. Not because of his numbers, but because the numbers of everyone you pick after him are going to go up.

So you were right he didn't have 13, he had 17 and an olympic gold medal.

totally agree, none will ever do it again.
what i'm saying is just that he's not the best ever.
he's the greatest defender ever, he's a top-3 rebounder ever and he's the greatest leader ever both vocal and on the court. but he's not the greatest player ever.

@theoGnRfan I don't confuse emotion with fact.. Just because he played 50 years ago in the 60's with black and white TV people forget him. But he is the best. Greatest winner in North American history, and very versatile
