hello thx for the inspirational video, it feels good when you have hope..... my WD elements just cannot be recognized suddenly, I have many important datas, can I extract the internal drive and put it it inside another USB case ? if yes, what is the name of the USB case? (company and series)
-
@Amerguin what kind of case did you put it in? looking for a new enclosure for my HD

Heyy I got a question.
Mine is broken, the white light doesn't go on anymore, and according to the computer it isnt even there though it's all wired up. And I'm afraid it's a hardware(maybe even just the A/C power) error.....
I got ALOT of important data on that, both private and stuff for my study...
So I was wondering, could it be possible to save the data by opening it up, take the HDD out, connect it to the computer with a special cable and then try to copy the content I want to save?
>> can I replace the hard drive inside?
Yes
