No I disagree I want to hear about places like Nyeri as its one of the areas that I am considering taking my business to, in order to help the community , if they so choose.

@ujuzi2008 I agree there are some very rich individuals and very well developed land in Kenya. Do something to paint a better picture of Africa not the same old tainted reality. Why don't you film the Outspan, or Green Hill hotel. Go to Kiganjo and film the scenery going towards Nyeri, Naro Moru plains, Mount Kenya resort etc. You get the picture

I visited Nyeri in 2001 and I loved it. The people of Nyeri are indeed very friendly. I can't get Fanta Passion Fruit in the USA!

It would do justice to show a more balanced picture of Nyeri. Can't stand self serving reports such as this. Yak
One would think all schools are made of timber and all of Nyeri is drowing in waste. Do us a favor and remove this video if you can't make a fair assessment of the situation in Nyeri.

@Limuru Boy and the like. Why be so vulgar while you could have made your point without the use of such dirty words. I am from Nyeri and we were not brought up to be so demeaning. This is a great video even though it seems like we are retrogressing rather than progressing. It used to be such a beautiful town back in my youthful days....but here we are now....poor leadership has led to poor economic conditions countrywide.
Correction: This "Robert Bayden Powell" is certainly not the best known name around nyeri. Nyeri has its natives whom the locals know much more than that Powell character. I find it stupid for the makers of this documentary to single out a white man as "the best known name around Nyeri". What bullshit is that? Ndigithiai wana.

I appreciate your comment. Perhaps it would have been more accurate to say that Powell was the best know European name around Nyeri. I will certainly pass your comments along to the filmmaker.
