  • This was such a great idea for solo cruisers. Helps create a social space and yet privacy :)

  • I have been on Norwegian Epic 5 times and will go again. Every time was a blast! And most of the time there is a lot of fun going on in Living Room at daily Solo Meetup. My agency is hosting a great group on December 3-11 sailing. Join us! Prices are great and lots of fun. 8882800528

  • Studio looks great, I'm travelling on a med cruise in September, 2011.

Thank you NCL. First time I can afford a cruise rather than paying double when it is just for me. Size wise I would be happy with a hammock. Your cabin is just for sleeping, showering and changing your clothes - who needs anything gigantic.

As for the person who thinks everyone is going to get drunk and fuck - that's in your head "pal"! You should be so lucky.

  • I think having Studios is the greatest idea! I loved Living Room access and all special events Norwegian Epic holds for Studio guests.

  • I think this is awesome idea . This room looks like Bruce Willis' flat in the movie The Fifth Element . It would be so cool to stay there. I find that there is not enough attention given to a single traveler . There should be more rooms designed for that kind of passenger . I have been on 5 different cruises and some of the new ships have cabins that look like motels build in the 70's .

like motels from the 70's. And 100 sqft is more than enough for one person.

    Balcony would be nice though.

  • @phatbachelor yeah and overpriced too

  • @metsdudenj There ya go! You and me are on the same page

  • @puggo63 and what in the world is the problem with that???

If you are solo 9 times out of ten you are lookin' for some action :)

I wish more cruise lines would take solo travelers seriously like that

  • @puggo63 I actually love the set-up. I'm going to be cruising on the Thanksgiving dates and booked the studio since I'm single. My room is meant for sleeping so I can't complain about the size. It's perfect for a single person like me especially since I won't be given the extra charge for being a single cruiser. I'm glad I got a room all to myself and wasn't forced to try to 'room' with someone to avoid the extra fee most cruiselines impose. I think it's going to be an awesome trip!

  • I don't like it at all, rooms are claustrophobic - ridiculously tiny, bizarre setup of separate bathroom "parts." Then the whole solo traveler floor setup is like a nightclub with a bar for the "singles" - can you read - "let's get drunk and f*ck my room is down the hall"- what were they thinking!!!!!!
