The hall of fame doesn't decide who's good or not. They decide whether they were SUCCESSFUL. This means if they sold a lot of albums and "changed" rock and roll. That's why Madonna is technically in there. Rush is a great band no matter what. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a joke and so is Rolling Stone magazine's top whatever list. They put pink floyd's The Wall as the best album of all time in the 70's out of 100. I mean wtf.

At least in the UK, Canada, Australia, NZ etc (you know, the normal sensible English speaking countries of the world where we don't fuck with the written language ) we make some kick ass music- so thanks to Canada for Rush, OZ for AC/DC and Bonn Scott, UK for Floyd and too many to mention..

@twil626 The Wikipedia article "List of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees" does not list Lady Gaga as one of their inductees. You have to have started recording at least 25 years ago or longer in order to be eligible for induction into the Rock Hall. Lady Gaga only began recording in 2009, so she's very far from being eligible for induction. I think the Rock Hall is anti-Semitic (Geddy Lee is Jewish) and that's why they won't ever induct Rush.

Lady Gaga only began recording in 2009, which means she's very far from reaching eligibility for induction. Rush have been eligible for Rock Hall induction since either 1998 or 1999, since their first album was released in 1974. The Rock Hall is supposedly against Rush because they're anti-Semitic. Geddy Lee, as you might know, is Jewish.

Beautiful song in every way, fabulous opening to a legendary album and it even has some French lyrics! I felt this song on a deep level when I was a college dreamer.
