@IsCoolSilke - I'm guessing that "Don't You Need", by Melissa is almost as if the dreams she is having are a metaphor and perhaps a sign, in which are acting as the 3rd person or her conscience if you will, describing to her, her own loneliness, while trying to give her a good kick in the bud to go after what she is pursuing, Now or never! Perhaps, She could be singing to the person she desires, & wonders why they are giving mix signals, while running from love, only to return. Like a game.
