  • I developed so much respect toward Burmese. Buddist monks, students, citizens of Burma they all possessed type of grace. That must be comming from their courage I suppose. They should not had to endure anymore atrocious acts from junta. We should do everything we can do to support Burmese fast.

  • you sad bastard. those monks are the bravest men. and they will succeed, you dumb ass git.

  • Myanmar is home for all ethanic groups and all religious groups. If we want to have our rights, give others rights, too. Myanmar is Home for Buddhists, Christians and Muslims. Democracy is giving equal rights to all, without discrimination.

  • You are certainly right, India has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. In fact that is part of the problem. In 1988, the largest democracy in the world (India) was one of the first nations to support the Burmese people.

Another problem is that beyond not supporting oppressed people of Burma, they along with China and Russia have become the biggest supporters and supplies to the Junta with weapons. Gandhi would be very disappointed!

  • India? What did we do?

  • I am Burmese, I love Condi Rice. I wish the U.S. would do more but.. lets all put the blame where it belongs, the Junta, China, Russia, India, ASEAN,and the UN.

Let the rest of us unite for a Free Burma.

  • Whenever i remember that time, my heart breaks. No one can imagine how much cruel millitary junta are if u haven't experienced yourself. It is beyond ur wildest imagination.

  • It's amazing how easily you bare your teeth at the United States when this is an international issue. The Burmese government has been terrorizing its people for over forty years and only now do people acknowledge its presence on the map. I may sound bitter... but really you guys, you can't hold Condoleeza Rice or the White House accountable for the lack of action being taken.

  • Don't think for a moment that WE the people of the WORLD have fogotten ONE MINUTE the oppression that the Burmese people are under... PLANS are being made to Rescue these good people, ... and set them FREE !

  • My heart goes out to the beautiful people of Burma. They have suffered so much oppression , cruelty and control from their evil controlling government.Their hearts and minds are on a much higher plain than their ugly evil oppressors. God bless them.

  • hasnt it struck you that most of these protesters are in fact buddhists and have no want like my self to bare arms or cuase any kind of pain or suffering
