Being a Christian, I have only been inside churches my whole life. With this montage project, I want to explore a different religion—Catholicism. I want to learn how Catholics worship, give service, and pray. Ive always wanted to visit a cathedral, for I was only able to see inside through a television screen. The beautiful interior of a cathedral has always fascinated me, and I am thrilled to see it with my own eyes. I have chosen the St. James Cathedral, the oldest Episcopal congregation in Chicago located on Wabash and Huron, for my filming location. I have already contacted them in regards to filming arrangements, and they are happy to have us filming there. The only downside to this is that they are in the process of cleaning, and they told me I would be able to start filming starting from the 21st, which is next Monday. If this is a problem, I would have to film at another cathedral, and I am thinking of the Holy Name Cathedral on State and Superior.
