I'm trying to figure out why one guy seeing Hendrix on a bad night has put everyone into comparison-mode between Hendrix and Zeppelin. For one thing, they're not that comparable, Hendrix was strictly blues-based, Zeppelin was all over the place. For what he did, no one matches Hendrix, and for what they did, no one matches Zeppelin. It's like having a favorite color, grow up.

@Tony63909 first of all the " borrowed " as most bands of their era.....secondly they brought justice to any tune you think they ripped off.....Jake Holmes although rattled complimented Page for making a masterpiece of Dazed......plus blues can never be stolen and always evolves....how many artists stole Zep's riffs.??....enjoy the music idiot and show a little respect...they'll always be known as the greatest rock band of all time, better then the beatles even..think b4 you speak,.
