DUDE! why are you like that? its nature they need to make their noises, warning cries. Don't be so shelfish. How would you like it if birds were the main race?
"That stupid kdmalan is ranting about us! lets peck him to death!" How would you like that? stupid wildlife H8ER!!! if you ok shoot all birds in the world. Then we wont have birds to eat the bugs killing our crops. Once again don't be so shelfish

Thank You for helping!I know a number of lic. rehabbers in MI+like me theyre often swamped+just cant help.Antibiotics,esp. if a cat/dog bite might have helped.Vets, wildlife preserves, nature centers, online groups could have helped w/advise.Young Robins often eat 2 much!U judge by the crop.Robins are the ONLY US land bird that can eat earthworms. They carry parasites called GapeWorm that cause birds 2 suffocate!Yes,it IS illegal to KEEP native birds but you did not keep him you SAVED him!

Dont listen to stupid overconcerned people blabbering that your doing him harm. I had a similar case with a fledgling chipping sparrow. She had a punctured left air sack from my cat that got ahold of her. I never used peroxide but my family happens to be close friends with another family that owns an animal hospital and they hooked me up with a kind of antiseptic and i gave her small recomended cc doses. 1 week later she was back in the wild and the parents continued raising her!

One day at my Grandparents house we had found a baby bird that fell out of its nest. It was injured so we took it in and tried to care for it. About a week later it started to get better but then the nextcouple days turned for the worst. He didnt drink that water we got him or eat the worms we got at the store. Then one day he passed away. We buried him behind the house right beside the bird feeder. RIP

Thank you so much for trying to help this robin, i love robins so much and in case you ever find another injured bird.......feed them every hour and when you feed them make a special sound like a whistle so they know that a whistle means food!!

I saw one of your tags was Michigan; if you live near Lansing, perhaps the folks at Fenner could help your Robin out

Thanks, this is the kind of feedback I'm looking for. I live 60 miles from Lansing, but I will call them. Thanks again

Your intentions are good but you are doing this bird more harm than anything by not taking him to a local wildlife rescue. Unless you're a vet, you can't tell what is going on inside him or if the wound is infected, not to mention the wing. GET HIM TO A RESCUE CENTER IMMEDIATELY IF YOU WANT TO HELP HIM.

I have been trying rescue centers all week, either they are too far away or they don't want him.
