This stop is great at slower speeds. The reality is, if you are going really fast, the only way to STOP is to lay down! Other than that , T-stopping is the best way to slow your self at high speed. Control your speed by slolaming and then slow with either your heel break or T-stopping. If you are really worried about stopping, then don't go fast! Powersliding works well with those old timey small wheels, however if you are skating on 110mm wheels...good luck with that one!!
