What really sucked is that the charge never exploded. The firework was a dud, so even if the charge hadn't shot out, the effect wouldn't have worked.

just glad it didnt blow you up thats the main thing,cams can be replaced,people dont know how much film makers suffer for their art ;-)

WWe actually ended up blowing up around 7 of these. lol, then one of them broke my camera. That time, the charge was supposed to blow between the main head and the face, but instead it shot out straight, and slammed the touchscreen of my camera into th body, cracking the screen beyond use. It would have cost more to fix it than buy a new one, so I found another on Ebay.
The camera was a gift too, that I'd only had for 3 weeks.
