This is a video I made, it shows all the abilities of the Blue Mage of FFTA
(Note : The song is from FFT on PS1)

"Limit glove", despite being a blue magic in FFIX, is NOT a blue magic in this game. It is in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift.
Thanks for not trolling me about this.

French version of my video available at :

"Final Fantasy Tactics" and "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance" are both games from Square-Enix. All credits to them.

  • wat happened to limit glove

  • @michael1734 limit glove is NOT a blue magic in the first one. Only in FFIX and FFTA2.

  • @Yamisquall its an attack for blue mages in final fantasy tactics advance i have it and i have a master rank blue mage got it from nargai cave

  • @michael1734 Check the very first second of the video: the blue mage IS mastered.

  • I finally figured out how "Learning" works. First, you got to have "Learning" equiped on Support, then it'll activate and stay activated as long as you have it equiped. You can learn Blue Magic by being attacked by the special attack abilities (or others) from monsters. No need to worry about gaining AP after the mission, cuz as soon as you learn the ability, you automaticaly master it.

PS: There is no other weapon in the game that can give you a Blue Magic ability other than "Learning".

  • @SuperDragonBlader ... no news to me... nor to a lot of people.. It works the same way as Enemy Skill in FF7, or Blue Magic in FFV where it originated: just having the "learning" equivalent equipped and getting the skill dealt to us.

  • Big deal...

I can cast Bad Breath too.

  • @Yamisquall I "DID" played final fantasy. Infact, this is actualy my first time playing final fantasy tactics advance, and believe me, I already started to get hang of it. I know how to play the game very well. And to top it off, this is the only final fantasy game that I have. I only needed help from the experts here like you. How to unlock certian jobs, battle tactics, etc etc.

  • @SuperDragonBlader Never played ANY final fantasy have you? You have to recieve the damage from the ability from a monster.

  • So Blue Magic can be learned from almost every single monster in the game? I see... But the REAL importnat question is, HOW do you obtain those abilities from them? By being attacked by them? How does "Learning" work?
