what are transformer and output transformers did you use? Because i am planning to build one!

I have a 260 and it hums like crazy. I think someone put the wrong size transformer in there or the wrong type. I wish I knew someone who could fix it.

How many varistors in a 260 and in a 280?

Thanks for comments! 260 has 4, 280 has 8 varistors. I like the sound of 260 model much better. This is the sound I was after: /watch?v=nqHoAkZDG5w&feature=related, it's pretty close, but it just doesn't quite captures it, Robert Ward's vibrato sounds really outta there!

Thanks for comment! It's because of "Hot stuff" CD that I got into building this amp. I'll never be able to play like him, but at least the amp sounds good.
