Lizzy Moore is the Regional Director for the Recording Academy (sponsor of the Grammy Awards). She is the special guest of the New Mexico Music Commission. In this video from the series, she explains how New Mexicans can participate in the Latin and Native American Grammy Award categories.
It's definitely a long process to get every voting member to participate...

The part about the amount of Native American submissions, how it's grown and how they would like it to grow, was interesting.

I especially enjoyed this part because it is tied into New Mexcio. It is nice to see that Native Americans have a place as well that the Grammys is trying to open up this field and incourage them more. I especiall enjoy the latin catagories because she talked more in depth in the differences between the latin grammys and the domestic show.

I thought everything she said was very interesting and full of useful information but I didnt like her attitude. I thought she was snooty kind of.
