I hate when musicians decide to become politics. I don't care that you have an opinion, just don't try and sell it to me. I love the music, not the political views.
-
@sensfaninohio amazingly yours is the first argument that is primarily of sound logic! Opinions are great that way!

dave looks high as fuck, he and jane probably smoked a doobie with a chimpanzee before the interview.

There's no way for him to avoid sounding condescending. Should he stop touring? Should all musicians? Should we all get jobs we can walk to? Should we keep firing teachers and keep from learning new energy sources? How much fossil fuels were burned so we could power our computers to watch this?

Yeah I don't really care about any of this environmental crap, I just wanted to see Dave Matthews! BEST.MUSIC.EVER.

I am a BIG dMb/Dave Matthews fan ... and I admire his peaceful approach to solving the world's problems - but, he is thoroughly on the liberal/progressive bandwagon, 100% hypnotized/bought into their rhetoric, imho. As long as someone is willing to hear my point of view, I am more than willing to hear theirs. It is when folks [on either side of the aisle], are so righteous and condescending that they condemn me - that I choose to avoid those types of discussions/arguments with them in the future

Libbo BS!
Im not even going to waste my time arguing your point. Dave is an activist for a clean environment and always has been. Hes put in a lot of money to make the world a better place. So tell me what have you done besides pollute youtube with your unjustified comments?

@Raven4111 - Unjustified in your bloviations perhaps. But once again Dave Matthews "fanatic" feels they need to defend their poor messiah of climate change against someone who speaks the truth -- that Matthews is a hypocrite telling others to "ride bikes" while he burns corn (aka: food) to justify getting from Point A to Point B so he can pontificate his falsehoods on man-made global climate change and get more sheep - like you - to jump off the progressive cliff to oblivion. Congrats!

You ignored that he clearly stated his equipment uses grown fuel instead of drilled fuels and I am aware of his use of Bio-diesel. That he invests in grown fuels and other technologies is also in line with his green ethics. Sorry you saw what I saw in such a different way.
And I do ride a bike...

@ampiper420 - So because he burns food instead of oil this makes it okay to preach about the socialist agenda to turn America into a 3rd world nation? Yea that makes a total lot of sense. I'm so glad that you ride a bike, but the question is do you ride it to work? To the grocery store? Everywhere you chose to go? That's what they want - you to ride everywhere. So how does that work for travels to a distant relative? On vacation? Is any of this sinking in yet??

are you aware of all the things he and his band have changed in order to make less of a carbon footprint. you should know a little more about what he "does" before you just judge what he "says". he has one of the cleanest acts on tour

@GrizzlyWilburWash - Sorry but to me it doesn't mean squat. I don't believe in "carbon foot print" or any of the other socialist mumbo-jumbo thrown around concerning man-made global warming. Simply put - it's bogus! The e-mail scandal of 11/2009 showed me everything I needed to know - scientists "cooked" the books to push a political agenda demanded by people like Gore, Clinton, Obama and others. It's as phony a religion as Scientology and as fake a science as making a time machine out of a car!
