The Yellow head Goby is a unique attractive sand sifting goby making it popular for more experienced aquarists. Multiple specimens can be kept together in a large enough system if they are a mated pair otherwise they will fight.
It requires a tank of 200 litres or larger with plenty of hiding places and a sand substrate for it to feed off as well as a tight fitting lid to prevent escape. Does well in a reef aquarium and doesn't bother corals at all, it will sift the substrate oxygenizing as it goes. They adapt well to flake and frozen foods.
