@ribrass Im 60 now, grew up in the 60s. I have always said...It aint country music if it aint got a fiddle or a steel. Todays country is NOT country music. My Daddy played this music all the time and taufgt me to dance to it. I miss Him.

The incomparable Great late Hank Williams, He was one of a kind, There'll never be another like him. (Perhaps Hank Williams the Third will give it a shot.) Thanks , Hank, for the sweet memories. John Ricker USA

@buckbuck666 This song is older than Lady Gaga. It was written by Fred Rose. And I agree, Lady Gaga is a freak

This is an old Fred Rose tune. I remember a lot of these over dubbed that popped onto the market in the 60s and 70s.

Who wrote this song as Roy Acuff did it in 1945?

Don't overlook the contribution to Hank's sound made by the steel guitar playing of Don Helms....unique amongst steel players of the time, but somehow so perfectly suited for Hank.
I had the honor of hearing Don play and meeting him several times...what a treasure.

Comparing TODAY"S country music singers to Hank Williams is like comparing a Soap Opera star to an Old Testament Prophet...
